Victory and Victory Neue custom brand typefaces
In 2004, I worked directly with Nike creative teams to design a new brand typeface - Victory. The 20 style font family was created to dovetail with the new global brand standards.
The following year we added Victory Neue, a completely new design of six more styles to further complement the existing brand, which was used globally, online and in-store.

I took the first two photos in San Diego and then created these images as a reaction to airline tragedies that had been consistently happening.
Trudy - my friend's dog, happened during a photo shoot recon meeting from an off-the-cuff no look snapshot.
The last two images are portraits of Alysia Duckler for her website. I created all of the photography, designed / developed the site - www.aedfineart.com
December 2014 - I had the wonderful opportunity to work directly with the School of Dentistry Deans and Marquam Hill Art Committee to create a mural in their new home, the Skourtes Tower - in the heart of the newly revitalized southwest waterfront area.

Photo collage below - I found a few collections of square format slides from the 60s. After looking at them for while, I started to combine 2 slides and these poetic surreal narratives began to emerge.
This is the first round.

2004-06 >> The Doors of Perception, a Doors tribute, played around Portland. The gig was not about sounding exactly like the Doors but to give audiences a glimpse of what it might have been like to see the Doors live. I lost 60 pounds to play the role of Mr. Mojo Risin'.
2007-08 >> The Art Yard Sale (self-explanatory, I hope) helped to create the Elizabeth Hawthorne Hunt Printmaking Memorial endowed scholarship at PNCA. Years after my friend, school and band mate Hawthorne passed away from cancer, I had been wanting to do something to honor and remember her life. I came up with the Art Yard Sale as a way to raise scholarship funds. Pioneering the creation of the scholarship in her name is by far the most important things I've done. Please feel to contact me to learn more about the scholarship.
I've been playing guitar for over 40 years and over years, started collecting and working on guitars. I found and purchased my first Fender Tele Deluxe when I moved to Portland.
This guitar is a rescue from a music shop purchase that had been tortured by its previous owner. Took it completely apart and then pulled together all of the original parts from various purchase to create a hybrid of the Tele Custom and Deluxe. It has amazing tone and intonation, very 70s sound styling. This guitar is currently available for purchase - please feel free to contact me for more details.
